Wednesday 10 January Five Years Too Many : Close Guantanamo now - Public Meeting

7:00 pm-9:30 pm , Pollockshields Primary School, 241 Albert Drive, Glasgow, G41 2NA
Public meeting on the eve of the 5th anniversary of the arrival of the first prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.


Speakers include Victoria Brittain (co-author with Moazzam Begg of the book Enemy Combatant), Aamer Anwar (human rights lawyer), Dr Akhtar-Saeed Bhutta (Secretary General of the UK Islamic Mission in Glasgow), Tommy Sheridan MSP (Solidarity)


The meeting will include a screening of the documentary Outlawed - torture, extraordinary rendition and disappearances in the war on terror.
