Please join us in the protest outside Birmingham Students Guild on Thursday the 24th of May 2007 between 13:00 and 14:00 hours against the growing infringement of our Human and Civil Rights. We will be protesting against the developing international trend where Gulty until proven innocent is becoming the norm.

The protesters will be wearing orange jumpsuits to remind the public of the British residents who are detained without trial at Guantanamo. If you have  an orange suit please wear it or bring it to the protest.

The picket coincides with a conference discussing attacks on human rights. The conference will end with a public lecture by later that afternoon leading human rights campaigner, Dr Adnan Siddiqui, entitled Minority Report.
