On 11 January, it will be six years since the first detainees were transferred, hooded and shackled, into Guantánamo Bay.

In the years that have followed the US has detained over 700 men, none of whom have had access to a full and fair trial. Today nearly 300 men continue to be detained at the base - many have suffered ill-treatment or torture.

Join us outside the US Embassy in London from 9:30am on Friday 11 January to add your voice to our call for Guantánamo to be closed. The more people that can be there the louder our voice will be.
