Ibrahim bin Shakron a Moroccan former detainee at Guantanamo Bay, revealed yesterday that the Pakistani authorities sold him and other Arabs like Maneea from Saudi Arabia, Ibrahim Jaafar the Palestinian, Karamah the Yemeni, and another Moroccan man named Ahmed Alrashedi to American authorities for the price of five thousand dollars each.
He said that the Pakistani authorities deceived Americans by extraditing persons who had nothing to do with the events of September 11 to get a handful of dollars.
Ben Shakaron the Moroccan said he had been arrested in 2001 by Pakistani authorities, and was passed through few prisons in Pakistan before he was handed to the American authorap_guantanamo_soldiers_carry_prisioner_bw.jpgities, then escorted with other Arab detainees to the base in Guantanamo in a trip he said it lasted more than 50 hours.
He said the Pakistani authorities detained him and other Arabs for a long series of investigations, during which they were subjected to different kinds of psychological and physical torture in order to prove any link between them and Al Qaeda in any way.
He said that Pakistani authorities were concerned only to prove to America that they are on its side in its fight against terrorism. He accused the Pakistani authorities of selling many innocent Arabs to the American authorities-for a few dollars.
He mentioned in this context, the story of a Yemeni detainee, the Pakistani authorities also handed him over to its American counterpart.
He said that the Yemeni detainee "Karamah" was arrested on the Pakistani – Afghani border, after returning from a trip in the drug trade. Pakistani authorities have supplanted him the teachings of prayer, and forced him to grow his beard to sell him for five thousand dollars to the American Intelligence.
The Moroccan Ben shacaron explained that he was transferred and other prisoners (the Saudi Maneei, Ibrahim, and Karamah the Yemenies, and the Palestinian Jaafar, and Another Moroccan named Ahmed Alrashedi) early 2002 to the airport in Islamabad, where they were sold. Then they were passed on to the military air force Pagram the American prison  north of Afghani city of Kabul, and then they were transferred to Kandahar prison before being deported to Guantanamo base, in the trip that lasted for more than 50 hours.
