Members of BMA and various doctors are demanding that an independent scrutiny is urgently required by physicians outside the US military of the behaviour of some of the doctors at Guantanamo towards the detainees. In a letter signed by members of the British medical profession they claim the silence of the Foreign Office is shameful and reflects the collusion of this country in a war crime.
